Notably, he led the sales, marketing, and professional services of a life sciences manufacturing MES product for 10 years, resulting in a remarkable 63% increase in annual recurring revenue (ARR) and a substantial 95% rise in overall revenue.
Krishna Venkataraman
Co-Founder / Principal MES Consultant
With a career spanning over 25 years in the life sciences industry, Krishna has held a range of pivotal roles, accumulating a wealth of experience working with customers. His consulting expertise predominantly centers on delivering innovative solutions within the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) domain.
Krishna is recognized for his adeptness in solving critical challenges and providing invaluable project guidance, a reputation that has solidified him as a trusted advisor to various clients. His specialized skills encompass system design, recipe development and authoring, and systems integration with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and batch automation systems.
Before co-founding PlantOPS, Krishna served as the Product and Technical leader at POMS Corporation, where he capitalized on his hands-on industry experience. In this role, he spearheaded a global engineering team, overseeing the design and development of customer-centric products that drove significant business outcomes. Krishna has a proven track record in team-building, fostering environments that empower teams to develop cutting-edge products from concept to delivery while effectively addressing real-life customer challenges.
Khush Kalsi
Co-Founder / Principal MES Consultant
Bringing 21 years of experience to the table, Khush is a seasoned expert in providing software consulting services to the Life Sciences industries, spanning Pharmaceuticals, Biologics, and Consumer Packaged Goods. His comprehensive expertise covers all aspects of manufacturing software integration; top-floor to shop-floor. Primary focus in MES, from feasibility studies and requirements analysis to application design, recipe (workflow) development, project implementation, and system validation. Additionally, Khush boasts 20 years of experience in enterprise-level Software Development.

The Founder and CEO of Agaram Technologies Private Limited. With a career spanning 30+ years, he began as a bio-medical instrumentation engineer, installing and maintaining critical care medical instruments. Transitioning to analytical instrumentation, he led a national service division, initiated an HPLC product development team, and successfully manufactured one of India's earliest HPLC systems. In 1998, he established a software team catering to analytical instrumentation, delivering sophisticated software to global clients. This culminated in the establishment of Agaram Technologies in 2005, now a prominent provider of enterprise-level Integrated Laboratory informatics software solutions.
